Barbara Morgan Gardner has created a study guide titled Learning for Myself in the Doctrine and Covenants. This guide is the first in a series designed to deepen our understanding of the learning process and to empower us to "learn for ourselves."
This “Learning” study guide is broken down into five main chapters. First, we will discuss the “urgent” need to study the Doctrine and Covenants and why this study is “unique.” We will then discuss the process of learning broken down into three main chapters: “What to Learn,” “How to Learn,” and “Where to Learn.” The final chapter will be for you to evaluate your learning and propel you to act on what you have learned.
